The Ankara Research and Consultancy Company has examined the leadership performance of Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel following the operations against İmamoğlu that began on March 19.
The June poll, which asked the question, "Do you find Özgür Özel's performance successful since March 19?", presented striking results ahead of the convention case, which has been interpreted in political circles as a "plan to collapse the CHP."
According to the research, 77.7 percent of CHP voters stated that they find Özgür Özel "successful." It was noted that trust in Özel is also high among citizens who vote for opposition parties, and his performance also drew attention in the general voter average.
In the general average covering all voter groups in total, Özgür Özel's performance was evaluated as follows:
46.4 percent: I find it successful
33.6 percent: I find it unsuccessful
