Details regarding the seized assets of Fırat Sarı, who is identified as the leader of the organization in the Newborn Gang investigation, have emerged. Fırat Sarı is being tried for three separate crimes within the scope of the criminal organization he led, facing up to 582 years and 9 months in prison.
In the investigation conducted by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a court order was issued to seize Sarı's residence in Bakırköy, three fields and a garden in Bingöl, as well as Medisense Health Services Company, which operates in the health sector, and Sarıoğlu Tourism Trade Inc., in which he holds a 60 percent stake in the tourism sector.
TRUSTEES APPOINTED TO HOSPITALS AND COMPANIES
Within the scope of the investigation, the assets of Fırat Sarı, İlker Gönen, Dursun Eryılmaz, Sümeyye Nur Taşçı, Hüseyin Günerhan, and many others, who were among the defendants of the "newborn gang," were previously seized, and trustees were appointed by the Büyükçekmece 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace.
The decision covers not only individual assets but also many hospitals in the health sector. The appointment of trustees to a total of 14 private hospitals, including Avcılar Hospital, Özel Doğa Hospital, Özel TRG Hospitalist, Silivri Kolan Hospital, and Özel Avrupa Şafak Hospital, as well as GMZ Health Services Construction and Tourism Limited Company, drew attention.
