According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, the 10-year passport fee has risen to 11,281 TL, and the international departure tax has increased to 710 TL. MAJOR HIKE IN PASSPORT FEES
The General Communiqués on the Inheritance and Gift Tax Law, Motor Vehicle Tax Law, Fees Law, and Income Tax Law issued by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance were published in the Official Gazette on December 30, 2024.
With the communiqué, the 2024 revaluation rate, which also forms the basis for passport fees, was announced as 43.93 percent.
WHAT ARE THE 2025 PASSPORT FEES?
As of 2025, passport fees have been updated as follows:
6-month passport: 2,351 TL
1-year passport: 3,439 TL
2-year passport: 5,644 TL
3-year passport: 8,012 TL
10-year passport: 11,281 TL
HOW MUCH IS THE INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE TAX?
Another increase concerning those traveling abroad is the international departure tax. The departure tax, which was applied as 500 TL in 2024, has risen to 710 TL with the 43.93 percent increase. These regulations came into effect as of January 1, 2025.
