Answering questions from high school students, Bilal Erdoğan was asked by a young person, "We know you are involved in trade. But what exactly do you do? How do you make money? I was curious about this."
Noting that he is in the food sector, Bilal Erdoğan said the following:
"The year I first started trading was around 2007. Friends I had met in Turkey were selling things at stands in America.
They said they wanted to return to Turkey and continue this business in Turkey. I told them, 'You go back, can I be a partner in your business in Turkey?' The first business my friends did in Turkey was in cosmetics.
After that, at the beginning of 2009, we started the restaurant business with the same partners. Since then, I have been involved in the food business. We have restaurants with our partners.
Now, it has been about a year and a half since we opened a place in Dubai. We are planning to open one in Baku. Therefore, I am in the food sector, friends."
It is noteworthy that Bilal Erdoğan has become more visible in the media in addition to the events he has organized and attended recently. This situation brings to the fore claims in political circles of "preparation for the post-Erdoğan era."
