A funeral ceremony was held for the Çetiz family, who lost their lives in the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Center. The funeral prayer for Ahmet and Habibe Çetiz and their children, Vedat and Esad Çetiz, was held at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque in Ankara following the noon prayer. Politicians and a large number of people attended the funeral ceremony.

The funeral prayer for Ahmet and Habibe Çetiz and their children, Vedat and Esad Çetiz, who lost their lives in the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Center, was held at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki Mosque following the noon prayer.
In addition to the relatives of the Çetiz family, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Ahmet Aydın, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, and several members of parliament attended the funeral.
Following the funeral prayer, the bodies were taken to the Gölbaşı Cemetery to be interred.
