Claim: Mehmet Şimşek's March 19 confession to his inner circle! Statement issued by the Ministry

Nefes columnist Nuray Babacan shared important claims she gathered from Ankara's political corridors in her column titled 'Şimşek's stomach has given out!'

Stating that 'The capital has been living like a restless soul for a long time. Every week starts with depressing topics, and it continues that way,' Babacan made striking claims about Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek.

Using the phrase, 'This depressing environment must have bothered Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek as well; his stomach ailment has recurred,' Babacan continued as follows: 

 'The economic management, busy paying the economic price for political operations, either shares its feelings with friends or lets them out through their stomach because they cannot express their grievances openly. It is said that Şimşek is extremely saddened by the damage caused to the country's economic plans by an agenda trapped between judiciary, law, and politics.'

'WE HAVEN'T RETURNED TO BEFORE MARCH 19...'

Sharing the information that 'The stomach treatment he was undergoing at the time of his appointment had even served as an excuse to decline the position. However, he accepted the duty after his close friends in the party intervened. Now, it is said that Şimşek is suffering from the same ailment and is receiving treatment,' Babacan alleged that Minister Şimşek told his inner circle, 'In terms of economic targets, we still haven't returned to the period before the March 19 İBB operation.'

Including inside information regarding the CHP case, Babacan assessed: 'In this chaos, analyses are being made about whether a trustee decision will be issued or not. Due to recent developments, it seems as if interpretations have turned negative. Even those who find the appointment of a trustee to the CHP wrong and argue that it is legally impossible see it as a possibility. As the wind changes, so do the interpretations.'

Babacan described the atmosphere within the party with these words: 'There is no answer received by party members who talk to party officials about these developments that are 'outside their control.' There is a prevailing mood of 'Everyone is just a spectator. We are here until it goes as far as it can. They have long since stopped showing any will. Politics is a matter of expressing opinions. They have long since abandoned that...' there are complaints in the party.'

We condemn the journalist's fabricated news approach of 'Our Minister said this to his circle, said that to his circle.'

In this context, we will exercise our legal rights regarding such news reports made with the effort to consciously create a perception in the style of behind-the-scenes claims.
