As of the new year, hikes are expected in bridge and highway tolls, as in many other areas. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated in a live broadcast he attended yesterday that work on the hikes to be applied to bridge and highway tolls is ongoing. The new tariffs, which drivers are most curious about, were revealed through a blog post on a private bank's website.
A further 43.93 percent increase will be applied for 2025 to the highway and bridge tolls that were raised in August 2024. This hike means significant cost increases, especially for drivers traveling on long-distance highways.
