Drug investigation involving celebrities: Rabia Karaca's additional statement to the prosecutor's office revealed

Social media influencer Rabia Karaca, who was arrested as part of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's drug investigation involving famous figures, maintained the allegations she previously made regarding businessman Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, who is wanted as a fugitive in the IMM (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality) case, in her additional statement that has entered the file.

According to the report by Mustafa Kadir Mercan, Karaca stated that she and Gülibrahimoğlu had a long-term relationship and went on many trips together, using the following words:

“I had a relationship with Murat Gülibrahimoğlu as his girlfriend for 1.5 years. We had many trips together. We had many excursions to places like Germany/Munich, Cyprus, Bodrum, Cappadocia, and Ankara.”

Arguing that the photos found on her phone belong to these trips, Karaca claimed that all expenses, including travel and accommodation, were covered by Gülibrahimoğlu.

“HE BOUGHT ME MANY GIFTS, GAVE ME FOREIGN CURRENCY”

Sharing details regarding the Germany trip, Karaca included the following statements in her testimony:

“Murat Gülibrahimoğlu bought me many gifts during this vacation. My gifts didn't even fit in the suitcase. He had given me a very high amount of foreign currency for me to shop.”

Claiming that they preferred economy class on the return journey to avoid attracting attention, Karaca continued as follows:

“Other businessmen also bought gifts for their girlfriends (on this trip, while returning, Murat Gülibrahimoğlu seated us in economy class so we wouldn't attract attention; he and his friends sat in Business Class). Murat Gülibrahimoğlu gave money to the women upon returning from this vacation. (I did not receive a payment because I was his girlfriend.)

ALLEGATION OF A SECRET GAMBLING ROOM IN CYPRUS

One of the most striking parts of Karaca's statement was her account of the Cyprus trip. Stating that the vacation was planned for gambling purposes, Karaca claimed that a private and protected area was set aside for them at the hotel where they stayed.

EMEL MÜFTÜOĞLU ALLEGATION

“A private room was allocated to us for gambling. Bodyguards would wait at the door when entering the room. Murat lost a very high amount, approximately 300,000 USD. Hüseyin Köksal, on the other hand, won a large amount of money. Emel Müftüoğlu, Hüseyin Köksal, and Murat played games together at the table.”

FAMOUS NAMES ON THE SAME PLANE

Claiming that many well-known people were on the plane on the return from Cyprus, Karaca used the following expressions:

“On the plane were Hüseyin Köksal, Murat Gülibrahimoğlu, Hakan Karanis, Tuncay Yılmaz, İbrahim Bülbüllü, Fatih Keleş, Nilüfer Batur, Ayşe Sağlam, Merve Eryiğit, and Selen Görgüzel. The photos on my phone are proof of this.”

Touching upon the Cappadocia trip, Karaca stated that Gülibrahimoğlu left her side for a while and spoke as follows:

“Murat left me in the care of his bodyguard due to private business and departed. He returned to me at night. He could not communicate with me via phone because he was afraid of his wife.”

“THE ENTIRE SPONSOR WAS MURAT”

Regarding the shopping and expenses made during overseas trips, Karaca used the following statement:

“During our overseas vacations, the entire sponsor for our shopping was Murat. Fatih Keleş and Hüseyin Köksal would not spend money.”
