Ece Gürel's final social media posts before heading to the forest revealed: 'No matter how much he loves you...'
The social media posts made by landscape architect Ece Gürel the day before she went missing have emerged; she was found four days after disappearing in the Belgrade Forest and passed away due to hypothermia.

Ece Gürel went to the Belgrade Forest in Istanbul on March 2 and went missing there. Gürel was found unconscious after four days of intensive search efforts. Authorities announced that Gürel was taken to a private hospital in Maslak and admitted to the intensive care unit. It was reported that despite all medical interventions, Gürel could not be saved.
The Council of Forensic Medicine stated that examinations determined Gürel had suffered from hypothermia after remaining hungry and thirsty for a long period.
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated the following in his remarks on the matter:
''May God have mercy on her; we lost Architect Ece at 03:00 at night. Despite all our efforts, we could not save her due to extreme hypothermia. I wish patience to her family.''
After the autopsy procedures were completed, her body was handed over to her family, and Gürel was laid to rest at the Sinan Paşa Koca Cemetery in Bahçelievler following the funeral prayer held at the Bağcılar Güneşli Central Mosque.
It was learned that Ece Gürel had participated in a television program approximately 10 years ago. In the program, where she spoke about the challenges she faced in the field of landscape architecture, Gürel mentioned that she was studying at her third university and had a great interest in astrology. Gürel expressed that her biggest dream was to go to Australia.
Gürel, known for her interest in astrology, tarot, and traditional rituals, drew attention with her final posts on her social media account.
In one post, Gürel included the following statements:
'A person who learns to love themselves leads a more balanced life if they know the value of their efforts. Everyone has boundaries, and these boundaries must be respected.'
In another post, Gürel shared the following message:
'Karma says that whatever you do to a person, you will experience the same. No matter how much they love you, they may not understand your efforts. That is why everyone must walk their own path.'
