TRABZON

Due to heavy snowfall in Trabzon, schools were closed on Thursday, February 6, in the districts of Şalpazarı, Akçaabat, Araklı, Çarşıbaşı, and Düzköy. It was reported that education was also suspended in neighborhoods located in the higher altitudes of Şalpazarı.

KOCAELİ

In a statement from the Kocaeli Governorate, it was announced that education has been suspended in all public and private schools across the province due to increasing snowfall and the risk of icing. Additionally, it was stated that pregnant women, individuals with disabilities, public employees with chronic illnesses, and mothers of kindergarten and daycare students will be considered on administrative leave.

SAKARYA

In Sakarya, education has been suspended for one day in all formal and non-formal education institutions due to snowfall and the danger of icing. Pregnant women, individuals with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses working in public institutions will be on administrative leave.

SNOW HOLIDAY IN BAYBURT AND YOZGAT

It was announced that education has been suspended in all schools across the province in Bayburt due to adverse weather conditions. In Yozgat, education has been suspended for one day in the city center and the districts of Akdağmadeni, Saraykent, Kadışehri, Çekerek, and Çayıralan.

REGIONS WITH SCHOOL CLOSURES IN ELAZIĞ AND KONYA

It was announced that schools are closed for one day in both the center and the districts of Elazığ. In Konya, schools were closed in the districts of Halkapınar, Hadim, and Doğanhisar, while education was suspended for students under the bused education system in Ereğli.

EDUCATION SUSPENDED IN TUNCELİ AND ERZİNCAN

It was reported that schools are closed for students receiving bused education in Tunceli. The Erzincan Governorate announced that education has been suspended in all schools across the city. Pregnant and disabled public employees will also be on administrative leave.

SCHOOLS CLOSED IN AKSARAY, ZONGULDAK, AND GİRESUN

Educational activities were halted in the districts of Ortaköy, Gülağaç, and Güzelyurt in Aksaray, while all schools were closed across the province in Zonguldak. In Giresun, schools will be closed in the districts of Alucra, Çamoluk, and Şebinkarahisar, while it was announced that only bused education was suspended in some other districts.

BUSED EDUCATION SUSPENDED IN SAMSUN

Education was suspended for one day for students under the bused education system in the districts of Alaçam, Asarcık, Bafra, Canik, Çarşamba, Salıpazarı, Terme, and Yakakent in Samsun. It was stated that the updated school list can be accessed on the official website of the Samsun Provincial Directorate of National Education.

SNOW HOLIDAY IN BOLU, YALOVA, AND SİNOP

The Bolu Governorate announced that education has been suspended in all educational institutions across the city. In Yalova, it was stated that schools will be closed only for students under the bused education system. SNOW OBSTACLE TO EDUCATION IN DÜZCE, NİĞDE, AND KAYSERİ
