According to information obtained by Odatv, the Presidential Cabinet, which usually meets at the Presidential Complex, will meet at the Çankaya Mansion on November 10 out of respect for the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
With this decision, the Cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will have met in Çankaya after many years.
ERDOĞAN USES IT OCCASIONALLY
Following the relocation of presidential administrative units to the Presidential Palace in Beştepe, the Çankaya Mansion, which was transferred to the Prime Ministry, hosted its first Council of Ministers meeting in 2015.
Following the 2017 referendum and the abolition of the Prime Ministry in 2018, cabinet meetings have been held under the presidency of the President at the Presidential Complex in Beştepe.
President Erdoğan performed his last official work at the Çankaya Mansion on November 25, 2014. Four years later, on October 25, 2018, Erdoğan first received the Turkish Exporters Assembly. He then held a meeting of the Presidential Culture and Arts Policy Board. Following the Culture and Arts Policy Board meeting, an Economic Policy Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Erdoğan.

On October 18, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel suggested to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that the reception held for the October 29 Republic Day should be held at the Çankaya Mansion instead of Beştepe.
HISTORY OF THE MANSION
The Çankaya Mansion is the complex in the capital Ankara where Presidents resided between 1923 and 2014. With the Presidential Palace becoming the official presidential residence in 2014, it began to be used by Prime Ministers. Following the 2018 general elections held after the 2017 constitutional amendment referendum, the mansion began to be used by the office of the Vice President, which was established with the abolition of the Prime Ministry.
OLD AND NEW ÇANKAYA: ATATÜRK MUSEUM MANSION AND THE PINK MANSION
The Çankaya Mansion consists of seven structures: the Atatürk Museum Mansion, the Pink Mansion, the Glass Mansion, the Chief Aide-de-Camp Building, the Service Building, the Shelter, and the Pyramid Hall.
The building known as the Atatürk Museum Mansion is the first structure within the presidential complex.
Atatürk stayed in the mansion, which is now a museum, between 1921 and 1932. His mother, Zübeyde Hanım, and his wife, Latife Hanım, also lived there for a time.
The current Çankaya Mansion, or the Pink Mansion, is a historic, columned, pink structure located just to the right of the Museum Mansion, starting where it ends.
