The fake diploma gang has become the center of Turkey's agenda. As new details about the scandal emerge every day, 37 of the 197 individuals detained so far as part of the ongoing investigation have been arrested, while judicial control measures have been imposed on 150 others.
Following the scandal that shook Turkey, it has been suggested that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will dismiss those responsible.
In the expected Cabinet change, eyes are first turning to Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, while it has been noted that a large number of people at the BTK (Information and Communication Technologies Authority) could also be dismissed.
Reporting on the discussions in AKP circles, journalist Hilal Köylü said, "Still, no one is taking responsibility. In ruling party circles, it is insistently stated that President Erdoğan will find those responsible. Eyes are turned to the Minister of Transport. The expected statement is not coming from there. The CHP is asking why the BTK President is silent. There may be dismissals at the BTK. New Cabinet rumors..."
