A scene captured on camera during the live broadcast of Müge Anlı's program, where a guest faith healer threatened to cast a death spell, has sparked controversy.
The woman, identified as Gönül Derman Aytimur, who is alleged to be a faith healer, was taken into custody after declaring herself a prophet. It was revealed that Aytimur had also deceived people who were trying to find their siblings who had fled from Germany to Bursa; she issued threats involving death spells during her appearance on Müge Anlı's program.
When Aytimur was taken into custody, materials used in performing magic were discovered during a search of her home.
SHE TUCKED SOMETHING INTO THE SOFA
As the repercussions of the incident continue, footage has emerged showing one of the women, a follower of the detained faith healer Gönül Derman Aytimur, attempting to tuck something into the sofa during the live broadcast.
MÜGE ANLI LOSES HER PATIENCE
Responding harshly to the faith healer who threatened to cast a death spell on her during yesterday's broadcast, Müge Anlı said, "I do not believe you at all. You are charlatans through and through.
You are charlatans who exploit people's psychological problems and ignorance to gain financial benefits. You cannot even face me. You cannot do anything to me either. It means nothing to me. I am not Emine, nor am I Hülya. You cannot do anything to me. Whatever God knows is what is certain. If you are afraid of iron, you don't get on the train."
