Fatih Altaylı shares results of a poll not yet released by the CHP! Here is the only age group where the AKP is ahead

Journalist Fatih Altaylı, in his "Yorumlayamıyor" (He Cannot Interpret) series published on his personal YouTube channel via his lawyers from Silivri Prison, revealed the results of a poll commissioned by the CHP that has not yet been shared with the public.

Drawing attention to the fact that the collective bargaining agreement was signed without a ceremony for the first time following the President's strike ban, Altaylı stated:

"The answer is simple: The AK Party or the government is forced to reach an agreement and compromise with this segment of society. They are so desperate that the unions do not realize this necessity; even though their hands were very strong, they did not—and could not—make a sufficiently good deal."

"THE REAL SECRET IS IN THE SUB-BREAKDOWNS OF THE POLL"

Altaylı said that the most important information lies in the details of the poll:

"The secret of the matter is hidden in the sub-breakdowns of the election or voting preference surveys. But no one looks at these. Everyone says Party A is first with this many votes, Party B is second with that many. But the real secret is in the sub-breakdowns."

"CHP IS 21 POINTS AHEAD IN THE 18-25 AGE GROUP"

Stating that he has examined the poll commissioned by the CHP, Altaylı said that the CHP is clearly ahead among young voters:

"I took and examined the poll commissioned by the CHP. The sub-breakdowns are very interesting. In the 18-25 age group, the CHP is 21 points ahead of the AKP. It is not for nothing that the AKP constantly sends messages to the youth, but they are sending the wrong message, and the gap is not closing."

THE ONLY AGE GROUP WHERE THE AKP IS AHEAD

Emphasizing that the only age group where the AKP is ahead is the 25-45 range, Altaylı stated that most of these voters work in the public sector and related industries:

"The only age group where the AKP has an advantage over the CHP is between 25 and 45 years old. Here, the AKP is 9 points ahead. So, who are these people? A large portion are public employees. They are public employees who found jobs or were hired during the AKP era, or blue-collar workers in companies close to the AKP. They are those who vote out of fear of becoming unemployed if the government changes. The collective bargaining was with this segment. This is the group the government never wants to lose."

"UNIONS SHOULD READ THESE DATA CAREFULLY"

Altaylı said that unions should take these data into account:

"Their bargaining power is very high, but they are not using it. I advise the unions to examine these polls in detail and better realize their own power. The government forcing public employees to settle for the lesser of two evils also causes a loss of rights for private sector workers who follow the public sector."

"CHP IS AHEAD AMONG THOSE OVER 55"

Stating that the poll paints a different picture than the general perception regarding older voters, Altaylı continued:

"Let me add this regarding the polls. Contrary to what is thought, the AKP is not ahead among citizens over 55. Don't pay attention to the older men asking for phones in street interviews. In the age group over 55, the CHP is 9 points ahead of the AKP. As I said, the AKP can only surpass the CHP in the 25-45 age group, where public employees are concentrated."

"THE POLL WAS CONDUCTED WITH 10 THOUSAND PEOPLE IN 52 PROVINCES"

Altaylı also added that the poll is based on a large-scale study:

"The CHP's poll was conducted through face-to-face interviews with a total of 10 thousand 532 people in 52 provinces and 650 districts."
