Fatih Portakal revealed his own pension on live broadcast: 'May God grant abundance'

Following the determination of the minimum wage, eyes have turned to pension salaries. Millions of retirees are waiting with bated breath for the inflation figures to be announced on January 3.

With the inflation data to be announced by TUIK, the rate of increase to be applied to the salaries of millions of retirees and civil servants will also become clear.

Sözcü TV Main News Anchor Fatih Portakal revealed his own pension while calculating pension salaries during the live broadcast.

Stating that his pension is 44,800 TL, Portakal said, "If they give a 17 percent raise, I will receive a salary of 52,416 liras. May God grant abundance."

In the event that a 17 percent raise is applied to retirees, the salaries in the new year will be as follows:

Bağ-Kur (Tradesmen): 14,853 TL

Bağ-Kur (Agriculture): 11,804 TL

SSK (Pre-2000): 16,588 TL

SSK (Post-2000): 10,283 TL
