Erol Eğrek, a former employee of Çalık Holding, arrived in front of the holding's building, stating that he had not received the 7 million TL in severance pay he was entitled to for his service at a facility abroad approximately 10 years ago. HE LOST HIS LIFE AFTER THE BLOWS HE RECEIVED
It was reported that Erol Eğrek's jaw was broken, he had severe bruising on his body, and his health condition deteriorated due to the blows he received to his head and neck area.
After being beaten, Eğrek was first taken to Cemil Taşçıoğlu Hospital, where he fell ill and was intubated shortly after telling doctors that he felt pain in his head, neck, and chest area. Despite all interventions, he lost his life.
SHOCKING CLAIM FROM THE FAMILY: "THE DEATH REPORT SAID NO BEATING"

Security camera recordings of the moments Eğrek was beaten and subsequently taken inside the building have emerged. In the footage obtained by Halk TV, it is seen that Eğrek is led out from inside the building by two people holding his arms and that he is struggling to stand. The moments when Eğrek was handed over to the police in this condition were also captured on camera. When the camera zooms in, the displacement in his jaw and his exhaustion are clearly visible.

CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT FROM ÇALIK HOLDING
In a statement made by Çalık Holding following the incident, it was stated that Erol Eğrek had worked for the company in the past and had left after receiving all his rights, and it was claimed that his protest was an "armed attempt." While the statement alleged that Eğrek made "baseless accusations," it was stated that the incident was reported to law enforcement for security reasons.
