The funeral of 37-year-old Eyüp Dereli, who lost his life along with 10 of his colleagues while on duty during the fire, was laid to rest at the Kanlıpınar Martyrs' Cemetery following a ceremony held in Eskişehir.
At the funeral ceremony, Dereli's wife, Eda Dereli, broke down in tears while embracing the coffin, and Dereli's son, Batuhan, cried out, "Who martyred my father?"
During the funeral, Eyüp Dereli's father, Salih Dereli, had difficulty standing, and his wife, Eda Dereli, was also present at the ceremony.
