Following the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort, AFAD and fire department teams resumed operations at the first light of dawn, having paused them yesterday evening.
The final searches are being conducted meticulously due to the risk of the hotel collapsing.
A final search is being carried out at the hotel in Bolu that burned down and became a grave for 76 people.
THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF COLLAPSE
Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) teams and fire department personnel are conducting their work with great care due to the risk of collapse, as a large portion of the hotel is made of wooden materials.
Footage taken from both inside and outside showed that the roof of the 12-story hotel sustained heavy damage due to the fire, with windows shattered and belongings completely incinerated.
GYM AND POOL REDUCED TO ASHES
The gym and pool area located on the lowest floor were also completely reduced to ashes in the fire.
