Final warning from Meteorology for 6 provinces: Precipitation will be effective, temperatures will drop
Turkey is facing its harshest winter in the last 60 years. According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, rain, sleet, and snowfall are expected in 6 provinces. Specifically, rain will be effective in Zonguldak, Bartın, Sinop, Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin, while sleet and snowfall will be effective in Karabük, Kastamonu, the inland parts of Artvin, and Ardahan. Air temperatures are showing a decline across the country.

According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), it is estimated that the coasts of Zonguldak, Bartın, Sinop, Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin will be rainy, while the surroundings of Karabük, Kastamonu, the inland parts of Artvin, and Ardahan will experience sleet and snowfall, and other areas will be partly cloudy and clear.
Icing and frost are expected in the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country, along with haze and local fog.
Air temperatures will reach a high of 4 and a low of 0 degrees in Ankara; a high of 12 and a low of 8 in Istanbul; and a high of 17 and a low of 8 in Izmir.
