Fire panic at a paper factory in Aydın! Intervention continues
Efforts are underway to extinguish a fire that broke out in the open storage area of a paper factory in the Söke district of Aydın. Intense efforts are being made to prevent the fire from spreading to the main area of the factory. It has been reported that there were no casualties in the incident. Teams are continuing their work to bring the fire under control.

A fire broke out for an undetermined reason in the open storage area where compressed paper is kept at a paper factory operating in the Söke Organized Industrial Zone.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, fire crews were dispatched to the region.
The teams have launched an operation to bring the fire under control.
STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR
Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat stated that there were no deaths or injuries in the fire, and that 2 people were affected by smoke.
Canbolat spoke as follows:
"Water tenders and tankers have been requested from neighboring provinces. There is an estimated 30 to 50 thousand tons of compressed waste paper. Efforts are being made to prevent it from spreading to the factory. The intervention will continue until the fire is extinguished. We have taken health, AFAD, fire, and traffic precautions. We have also dispatched forestry teams."
It was learned that the health condition of those affected by the smoke is good.
