It has been learned that actor Boran Kuzum, who was planned to portray the famous director Atıf Yılmaz in the series, was removed from the cast just before production began.
Boran Kuzum had recently become a target due to a boycott post he shared on social media and his support for actress Aybüke Pusat, who was removed from the TRT series "Teşkilat" for the same reason. Following these posts, Kuzum was informed that his role had been canceled just one day before filming was set to begin.
According to a report by journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the production team quickly reached an agreement with a new name for the role.
Alper Saldıran will now play the character of Atıf Yılmaz in the series "Ayşe – Bir Ruh Macerası." It was stated that Saldıran has arrived on set and has begun filming.
