In the fire tragedy that occurred at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya, which led to the loss of 78 lives, the first moments of intervention by the gendarmerie search and rescue units have been revealed.

In the footage shared by TRT Haber, the efforts of the gendarmerie teams to evacuate stranded citizens using ladders extended to the upper floors of the hotel during the minutes when the fire began to spread are shown.
In the footage, it is seen that citizens emerging from the windows on the upper floors of the hotel reached the ladders extended by the rescue teams and were brought down.
