First statement from police officer suspended for criticizing the 'solution process'! Responds to 'FETÖ' allegations

In Eskişehir, a police officer reacted to the second 'solution process'—referred to as 'Terror-Free Turkey'—being conducted with the DEM Party and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan.

As those moments were being recorded, the police officer stated the following:

"Those who won elections by saying 'Öcalan will be released' and who are now racing to call that Öcalan 'Mr.' and walking the same path will surely lose. You must stand with the Turkish nation! This country was not founded easily. Damn it! Have you run out of people to walk with? Every day, people close to the organization are shamelessly and brazenly scratching at our nerves. 'Apo will be released, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia will become Kurdistan...' These are fantasies! You will be crushed under them! Do not trust politicians. The Turkish nation always has the final say here. I haven't been able to sleep since this process began."

Following these images, which became a major topic of discussion, the police officer was swiftly suspended. In a statement made by the General Directorate of Security's (EGM) social media account, it was noted: "Following the sharing of images belonging to a police officer serving in the province of Eskişehir on some social media accounts, an investigation into the matter has been immediately initiated. The police officer has been suspended from duty, and a chief police inspector has been assigned by our General Directorate of Security to investigate the matter in all its aspects."

AKP member Mehmet Ardıç claimed that the police officer was a member of FETÖ. In a post on his X account, Ardıç stated, "These are FETÖ tactics. It has emerged that the police officer who was opposing the solution process in the middle of the street has links to FETÖ."

The suspended police officer made a statement on his social media account.

"My name is Onur (Honor), and I am honored. It is my certificate of honor. Long live the Turkish soldier, long live the Turkish police. Long live the Republic of Turkey, long live the great Turkish nation," he said.

Responding to the FETÖ allegations against him, the police officer noted the following:

"To the great Turkish nation,

I see channels and pages spreading fake news claiming that it has emerged that I am a FETÖ member. The distance between me, who was eliminated by FETÖ members in the 2013 police interview on the pretext of having a gap in my teeth, and FETÖ is as vast as the distance between the earth and the sky. These news channels, which take Apo on their right and the Pope on their left, will soon be the first people to build a mausoleum and make peace with his disgraceful memory.

My head is held high, my conscience is clear. I was not suspended for theft, bribery, or treason.

Thank God, I have never taken a bribe in my life. I have never sold my state for any interest or money. I have worn my uniform with honor. I am open to criticism, but if you try to associate me with FETÖ, I will expose you for the disgrace you are."

In his next post, the police officer shared a screenshot of a tweet that Mehmet Ardıç, who had leveled the FETÖ allegation against him, had previously sent to FETÖ fugitive Emre Uslu, and stated:

"I don't know him. But he must be one of those who criticized us by saying, 'What kind of Turkish nationalists are you? Our Hodjaefendi is organizing Turkish Olympiads,' while we were using explicit language against FETÖ back then, just as we are today."

"SHEIKH SAID AND FETHULLAH ARE THE SAME"

On the other hand, it was observed that in a post made by the police officer on June 29, 2024, he stated, "Sheikh Said and Fethullah are the same. The only difference is that one could not deceive the president of the time."
