It was learned that the technical presentation regarding Kanal Istanbul was made to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on February 27, 2025. The presentation to Erdoğan was carried out during his visit to the Başakşehir-Nakkaştepe Highway construction site.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum also attended the meeting.
