A detention warrant has been issued for Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Sadettin Saran as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Saran, who was taken into custody after being removed from his presidential office as part of the investigation, was processed by gendarmerie teams.

Following his detention, Sadettin Saran was transferred to a hospital for a medical check-up under the escort of gendarmerie teams. It was learned that the procedures are continuing following the medical checks.
