Gürkan Duman evaluated the poll results and stated that the election would go to a runoff in every scenario. Expressing that the highest vote share the CHP could receive if it unites around a joint candidate is 52 percent, Duman emphasized that even a 1 percent shift in votes could lead to a critical outcome in favor of the People's Alliance.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that he would not participate in the primary to be held to determine the CHP's presidential candidate.
