While discussions on early elections continue in politics, former CHP MP Fikri Sağlar claimed that the government is preparing to hold a snap election.

Sağlar shared his views on the matter with members of the press.

CLAIM OF "SNAP ELECTION TO BE HELD"

Fikri Sağlar announced his prediction regarding the date when the election decision will be made, evaluating the tension in Parliament and the intensity of the agenda. Sağlar stated, "I think they will hold a snap election. The decision will likely be taken in January. People will be relieved then. It will become clear what they will do during the election process."

Sağlar noted that the CHP, taking this process into account, has been holding its bi-weekly action meetings abroad as well. He added that he expects other parties to announce their own strategies as well.

Stating that an early election could be held in March, Sağlar concluded his remarks by saying, "The decision will be made in January, and the election will be held in March."
