Assassination allegations have gained traction following the death of Muhammed Yakut, who made headlines with his videos containing claims about Sedat Peker, after he suffered a heart attack in Germany. Yavuz Değirmenci of the Future Party stated, "The new information I have received further strengthens the suspicions."
Muhammed Yakut, known publicly by the nickname "Deliler Delisi" (The Craziest of the Crazy), who made striking claims about organized crime leader Sedat Peker in videos he posted on social media, was apprehended during a routine identity check in Santander, Spain, in September 2023.
A red notice had been issued for his arrest by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "plunder by more than one person acting together" and "unlawfully obtaining and disseminating personal data."
It was announced that Yakut, who was briefly detained in Spain, had moved to Germany after his release, where he passed away due to a heart attack just two days after his release.

Yavuz Değirmenci, a member of the Founders' Board of the Future Party, made notable statements regarding the death of Muhammed Yakut.
In a post shared on social media, Değirmenci explained the suspicions behind the death as follows:
"I was the first to announce the news of Muhammed Yakut's passing to Turkey. The new information I have received strongly reinforces the suspicion of an assassination. The death occurred at a cafe at night. He had two separate private meetings there. Suddenly, ambulances arrived and took him away. His bodyguards had been removed from the scene at that time."
