Horrific accident in Diyarbakır! Pedestrian struck by car was severed in two
A person attempting to cross the road in Diyarbakır has died in a horrific manner. The body of 56-year-old M.D. was severed in two at the waist after being struck by a car.

The accident occurred in the evening hours near the rural Yolboyu Pirinçlik neighborhood on the Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa highway. A car driven by T.E. struck a male pedestrian named M.D. who was attempting to cross the road.
BODY SEVERED IN TWO
M.D., who was thrown meters away by the impact of the collision, lost his life, and his body was severed at the waist.
Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Following an examination at the scene, M.D.'s body was taken to the morgue of the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The car driver, T.E., was taken into custody, and an investigation into the accident has been launched.
