Is this the effect of the 'opening'? While everyone removed the İmamoğlu banner, the fact that 2 DEM Party members did not drew attention
While the 'Freedom for İmamoğlu' banner was being removed at the Socialist International meeting in Istanbul, the fact that DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları and DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli did not remove the banner did not go unnoticed.

The Socialist International meeting, hosted by the CHP in Istanbul, brought together important leaders of the global left.
At the summit, where 89 political parties from 81 countries across 6 continents participated as full members, ruling parties from many countries, from Albania to Ghana and from Spain to Mexico, were also represented.
While the main theme of the meeting was determined as “For a World We Deserve, All Together or None of Us: A Global Vision Based on Values and Solidarity,” a message was given to strengthen international solidarity against pressures on democracy in Turkey.
'FREEDOM FOR İMAMOĞLU' BANNER RAISED
At the event, where the opening speech was delivered by CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, a letter sent by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was also read in the hall.
Following the letter, many foreign representatives attending the meeting supported the stage with banners reading “Freedom for İmamoğlu.”
However, a striking detail emerged while the banners were being held up. While the vast majority of participants supported the banner, it was observed that DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları and DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli did not hold up the İmamoğlu banner.
