As new details regarding the investigation emerge, it has been determined that the harassment allegations involving Mehmet Akif Ersoy were previously brought to the agenda following internal complaints within the institution.
According to a report by Atakan Irmak from Sabah, some presenters conveyed their allegations of being harassed to the Habertürk Human Resources Department, but did not receive sufficient support or response to these applications.
Following this, it was stated that the presenters conveyed the situation to Mehmet Kenan Tekdağ, who was the Chairman of the Board of Can Media Group at the time and was later arrested as part of the Can Holding investigation.
Following these developments, it was noted that an internal announcement was published on August 6, 2025, signed by Kenan Tekdağ.
