The Ministry of Health continues to award tenders to Techno Health, a company alleged to have ties to the Menzil sect.
Most recently, a tender at the Ankara Gazi Mustafa Kemal Occupational and Environmental Diseases Hospital has once again drawn attention to this controversial connection.
According to an exclusive report by Cumhuriyet, parts worth 15 thousand TL were purchased from the company as part of a direct procurement tender held for the purchase of spare parts for the hospital's anesthesia department.
Techno Health has caused controversy before. In particular, during the Covid-19 pandemic, its sale of test kits to the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate under the "Covid-19 PCR Test Service Procurement" project caused a major public outcry.
One of the company's founders, Ferhat Danışman, had also served as the financial services coordinator at Emsey Hospital, which is known to belong to the Menzil sect.
Following these controversial processes, Danışman transferred his partnership share in the company to Cebrail Er in November 2022.
Techno Health has drawn attention with the 76 public tenders it has carried out since 2011. The total contract value of these tenders was recorded as 660 million 590 thousand TL.
