Meteorology issues warning for precipitation and strong winds across Turkey: What will the weather be like today?

According to the daily forecast report published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected in many regions, primarily in Marmara, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia.
Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy, particularly in the vicinity of Hakkâri.
CITIES UNDER YELLOW CODE WARNING
Meteorology has issued a yellow code precipitation warning for Bingöl, Diyarbakır, Hakkari, Siirt, Batman, and Şırnak. Citizens living in these provinces are urged to be cautious against negative conditions such as floods, flash floods, transportation disruptions, and the risk of lightning.
STRONG WINDS EXPECTED IN THE AEGEAN AND CENTRAL ANATOLIA
Winds are expected to blow strongly (30-70 km/h) from southerly directions in the Southern and Inner Aegean, the Lakes Region, and the south of Central Anatolia. A warning has been issued for citizens living in these regions against risks such as roof damage, fallen trees, and transportation disruptions.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms across the country. However, a drop in felt temperatures may occur due to the effect of strong winds and precipitation.
STORM EXPECTED AT SEA
Strong storms are forecast at sea in the Southern Aegean and Western Mediterranean, with near-gale force winds expected in the Eastern Mediterranean. A call for caution has been issued, especially for fishermen and those involved in maritime transport.

Marmara: Showers and thunderstorms in the vicinity of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Edirne, and Kırklareli.
Aegean: Showers and strong winds throughout the entire region, including İzmir, Muğla, and Afyonkarahisar.
Mediterranean: Showers in Antalya and Adana, with winds effective in the Lakes Region.
Central Anatolia: Showers in the vicinity of Ankara, Eskişehir, and Konya during the afternoon hours.
Black Sea: Intermittent and local showers in Zonguldak, Trabzon, and Samsun.
Eastern Anatolia: Showers are expected in Erzurum, Kars, and Van, while precipitation may be heavy in Hakkâri.
Southeastern Anatolia: Showers will be seen in Diyarbakır, Siirt, and Şırnak.
