Motorway to close on Bolu Mountain due to snow removal work
Due to heavy snowfall continuing around Bolu Mountain, the Bolu Mountain Tunnel section of the Anatolian Motorway has been closed to traffic for a short period. During the snow removal operations, traffic diversions will be implemented in both the Istanbul and Ankara directions.

Snowfall has been intense on Bolu Mountain.
In a post shared on the Bolu Governor's Office's social media accounts, it was stated that work would be carried out by highway teams to clear accumulated snow masses on the Anatolian Motorway.
The statement noted that the Istanbul-bound direction of the motorway will be closed between 13:30 and 14:30, with traffic diverted to the D-100 highway from the Abant Junction, and that for the Ankara-bound direction, which will remain closed between 15:00 and 16:00, traffic will be diverted to the D-100 highway from the Kaynaşlı Junction.
The statement also requested that drivers comply with traffic signs and signals.
