New detail in fake invoice allegations: Kadir Topbaş administration emerges from the case!

A notable development has occurred within the scope of the corruption investigation conducted against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

It was determined that Neva Organizasyon, a company mentioned in secret witness testimonies, only worked with the İBB during the era of the AKP's Kadir Topbaş.

İmamoğlu, who was arrested and sent to Silivri Prison as part of the investigation, responded to questions regarding the allegations made by secret witnesses by saying, "I do not acknowledge this question."

SECRET WITNESS MAKES ''FAKE INVOICE'' ALLEGATION

The secret witness "Doğan," who is at the center of the investigation, claimed that Neva Organizasyon issued fake invoices to the municipality. The witness stated the following in their testimony:

"I heard that the owner of Neva Organizasyon, a person named Ahmet Çiçek, issued fake invoices to municipal companies and the companies of Murat Kapki."

However, the investigation revealed that the company in question last worked with the municipality between 2014 and 2017.

27 MILLION DOLLAR TENDER BELONGS TO THE TOPBAŞ ERA

According to the report by Deniz Ayhan from Sözcü, Neva Organizasyon received a total of 12 separate tenders between 2014 and 2017, during the term of AKP Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş. It was stated that the current market value of these tenders is approximately 27 million dollars.

It was learned that the last contract the company signed with the İBB also dates back to the Topbaş era, in 2016. There is no business relationship between the municipality and Neva Organizasyon during the İmamoğlu administration.
