The drug and prostitution scandal that erupted at Habertürk continues to cause a major stir in the media world.

ALLEGATIONS DIRECTED AT MEHMET AKİF ERSOY
Statements claiming that former Habertürk General Manager Veyis Ateş introduced Mehmet Akif Ersoy to drugs and that Ersoy's friends supplied the drugs had previously come to the agenda.
However, the statements given to the prosecutor's office by a suspect named İpek M. as part of the investigation have taken these allegations to a different dimension.
İpek M., who was detained by Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie teams and later gave a statement to the prosecutor's office, made significant disclosures. Regarding events dating back to 2022, the suspect said:
"Drugs would appear in the environments we were in. Most likely, Akif was bringing them," she said, pointing to Ersoy regarding drug supply.
İpek M. also alleged that journalist Mehmet Akif Ersoy frequently drove vehicles with emergency lights while under the influence of alcohol and substances.
These allegations have raised further questions regarding both Ersoy's professional life and his private life.
İpek M. also provided striking information about some of the names involved in the environments in question.
It was alleged that at house parties attended by individuals such as Tolga Aykut, Buse Ö., and Tuğba Ö., a game called "Truth or Dare" was played, and that these individuals would engage in sexual intercourse afterward.
