In the rural area of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, a 30-person PKK group recently held a so-called "disarmament" demonstration by burning their weapons in a metal barrel.
According to the report by Özgür Cebe from Sözcü, an investigation by security sources revealed that the order for this group to lay down their arms was given by high-level terrorists in Qandil.
THOSE WHO GAVE THE ORDERS: SERDAR ÖZDEMİR AND FEHMİ ATALAY
It was learned that the terrorists who gave instructions to the group that destroyed their weapons were Serdar Özdemir, codenamed "Seyithan," and Fehmi Atalay, codenamed "Amed Malazgirt." It was determined that these two individuals are terrorists sought by Turkey in the red category, with a 20 million TL bounty placed on each of their heads.
It was learned that Serdar Özdemir, codenamed "Seyithan," was the mastermind behind the martyrdom of 87 security personnel in the past, the kidnapping of former CHP Tunceli deputy Hüseyin Aygün, and the martyrdom of Chief Public Prosecutor Murat Uzun. It is stated that Özdemir still holds an active role within the organization.
The other individual, Fehmi Atalay, codenamed "Amed Malazgirt," is reported to be responsible for the martyrdom of a total of 119 security personnel, including the killing of three soldiers who were on leave in Yüksekova, Hakkari, during the so-called "solution process" in 2014.
It was reported that Fehmi Atalay is still operating in Qandil and maintains direct contact with the organization's cadres.
