Oğuz Murat Aci's wife hits back hard at '100 million TL' claims! 'Whatever you can scrape together, 2-3 million...'

In March of last year, a car driven by Timur Cihantimur struck a broken-down ATV pulled over on the side of the road, resulting in the death of Oğuz Murat Aci. The 17-year-old driver, Timur Cihantimur, who caused the accident, fled the scene.

A new development has occurred regarding the pair, who have been detained for months in the USA—where they fled following the incident—and whose extradition to Turkey has been ordered. Oğuz Murat Aci's wife, Şükriye Aci, has withdrawn her complaint against Eylem Tok and Timur Cihantimur via a petition. It was noted that the submitted petition included the phrase, "Our material and moral damages have been compensated."

WHY DID SHE WITHDRAW THE CASE?

Oğuz Murat Aci's grieving father claimed that his daughter-in-law received 100 million TL to drop the case. Oğuz Murat Aci's wife, Şükriye Aci, spoke to tv100 reporter Sevgim Begüm Yavuz regarding the allegations.

Şükriye Aci explained why she withdrew from the case and stated that she did not receive a large compensation.

"I KNOW HE TOLD HIS OWN LAWYER 'TAKE WHATEVER YOU CAN SQUEEZE OUT'"

Responding to her father-in-law's claims, Şükriye Aci said the following:

"These are words that came out of my father-in-law's own mouth. On the 8th day of the incident, I know he told his own lawyer,

'1, 2, 3, 4, 5 million dollars... You will take whatever you can squeeze out.' Unfortunately, I learned this too late. Actually, as of the first day, these money negotiations were already happening; these things were going to be done. I did not sit down for money negotiations. I reached an agreement this way entirely through my lawyers, who reached out to us. Because I am now very tired and very fed up. I have been struggling alone for months.

"I CAN PROVIDE EVIDENCE FOR ALL OF IT"

By the way, I can provide evidence for all of this, which is my explanation. I spoke to him face-to-face. I wish he could have answered me too. They can create perceptions, but I could not have guessed that they could become this ugly and make such slanders to clear themselves.

They will do these things, but if necessary, I will have it all published. But everything has its time; I think they shouldn't go any further. Because I will use everything in a legal sense as well."

Stating that her conscience is clear, the grieving woman also said that she did not receive a large compensation.

"I am already a woman with a profession, and I have been working since I was eighteen. Even when we were married, I was never a person who coveted my husband's family's wealth. My conscience is so clear on this matter because my husband knew his family.

While no one was knocking on my door, I went to my mother's house when I was sick, you know, so she could help me with the child.
