Touching upon his long-standing relationship with Kütahyalı, Tayyar made notable comments regarding his media career, his controversial public statements, and certain past events.

Şamil Tayyar stated that his acquaintance with Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı dates back to 2007-2008.
Expressing that Kütahyalı did not start his journalism career as a reporter but directly as a writer, Tayyar noted that he began to gain recognition during the Taraf Newspaper era.

Speaking on the program, Tayyar stated that a significant rift occurred between him and Kütahyalı in 2010.
While using the phrase, "He stabbed me in the back in 2010," Şamil Tayyar said that their relationship continued at a distance following this incident.

Claiming that Kütahyalı occasionally made statements that sparked public controversy, Tayyar criticized his rhetoric, particularly during the peace process period.

Şamil Tayyar also made assessments regarding the detention footage of Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı that had previously surfaced.
Using the words, "I was not pleased with those images at all," Tayyar said he believed the process could have proceeded differently.
WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of the investigation, simultaneous operations were carried out in 21 provinces on May 14, and 128 suspects, including Kütahyalı, were detained. It was reported that the operation targeted allegations of "illegal betting," "qualified fraud," "bribery," and "money laundering."
It was stated that MASAK reports, bank transactions, crypto asset analyses, and examinations of digital materials were evaluated in the file. It was alleged that millions of liras entered Kütahyalı's account through various channels between 2022 and 2024.
After his processing in Istanbul, Kütahyalı was taken to Adana; during his medical check-up, he told reporters, "There is no such activity on my part. There is a misunderstanding." It was stated that the investigation is continuing in multiple directions.
