According to sources close to the organization, the weapons surrender process will take place in three stages and will be carried out under the supervision of international observers and the United Nations.
According to information obtained by CNN Türk reporter Emrah Çakmak, the locations designated for the delivery are within the borders of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq. It is planned for the weapons to be collected and transferred in these regions.
THE DELIVERY POINTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
In Duhok Governorate: Amadiya and Kanimasi
In Erbil Governorate: Binar and Koya
In Sulaymaniyah Governorate: Ranya and Said Sadiq
It is stated that the weapons in the possession of the PKK will be surrendered in a controlled manner at observation points to be established in these six regions. It is emphasized that independent international observers and UN officials will play an active role in ensuring the security and transparency of the surrender process.
