Presidential poll from Özdemir Araştırma: A striking gap between Erdoğan and Yavaş

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into allegations of public financial loss regarding concerts organized by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) between 2021 and 2024.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had sent an official letter to the Ministry of Interior requesting authorization to investigate ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
According to the allegations, the investigation authorization had been granted, and Mansur Yavaş was given 7 days to provide a statement. Mansur Yavaş, however, had categorically denied these claims.

The results of the first public opinion poll conducted after Mansur Yavaş came to the agenda with investigation allegations have been announced.
In the poll conducted by Özdemir Araştırma between October 9-14, 2025, with 2,006 participants, citizens were asked about their preferences in a presidential election.
In the poll, ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş was placed against Erdoğan.
In the scenario where Erdoğan and Yavaş compete, the results are as follows:
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 46.4 percent
Mansur Yavaş: 53.6 percent
