Singer Gül Tut, known by the stage name “Güllü,” lost her life on September 26 after falling from a window on the covered terrace of her 5th-floor apartment located on Vali Akı Street in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Çınarcık, Yalova, for reasons yet to be determined.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, four people, including the artist's daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, and her friend Sultan Nur Ulu, who was reportedly in the same room on the day of the incident, were detained on December 9.

Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, one of the suspects referred to the court, was arrested on charges of “intentional homicide.”

The “Olmazsa Olmaz” program broadcast on Beyaz TV featured the conversation between the police officers who were conducting the crime scene investigation at Güllü's home. In the released recordings, the officers were heard assessing that the incident might have occurred without external interference. The conversation included the following statements:

On the other hand, allegations that liquid soap or baby oil had been poured onto the parquet floors in the room where the singer fell were also examined as part of the investigation. The criminal report prepared regarding the parquet floors stated that no liquid soap or baby oil was found on the floor, and no lubricating substance was detected.
