Housing rents in Turkey continue to rise without slowing down. According to current data shared by Istanbul Real Estate Valuation, as of April 2025, the average rental cost across Turkey has approached the 20,000 TL level.
HIGHEST RENTS ARE IN ISTANBUL
Istanbul topped the list for rental prices with an average of 26,500 TL. It was followed by Muğla, İzmir, and Ankara, respectively. In these cities, average rental costs range between 23,000 TL and 26,000 TL.
NO RENTS UNDER 10,000 TL EVEN IN THE CHEAPEST CITIES
Among the cities with the lowest rental costs are Kilis, Muş, Kars, Burdur, and Aksaray. However, even in these provinces, average rental prices hover between 10,000 TL and 12,500 TL.
MOST EXPENSIVE PROVINCES
The provinces with the most expensive and cheapest rental housing have been identified. Accordingly, considering average prices, the provinces with the highest rents are as follows:
Istanbul: 26,500 TL
Muğla: 26,000 TL
İzmir: 23,500 TL
Ankara: 23,500 TL
Antalya/Kocaeli/Yalova: 20,000 TL
