In the latest inspections, products and companies that threaten health and mislead consumers were exposed. Cheating in pastries, olive oils, and spices was revealed one by one.
This time, what was found inside minced meat pastries sold using the name of a famous pastry shop drew attention.
The Ministry continues to expose non-compliant products so that citizens can access healthy and reliable food.
In the list of imitation and adulteration, to which new brands are added every day, a pastry shop operating under the name "Meşhur Sarıyer Börekçisi" was recently included.
In samples taken from branches of this Ataşehir-based business, which was established in 2023 and has no connection to the original name, poultry meat and chicken gizzards were detected in the pastry filling instead of minced meat.
Additionally, it was revealed that foreign substances were found in red chili flakes and that seed oils were mixed into olive oils.
