New rumors continue to emerge regarding the Bebek Hotel in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to a report by Sabah newspaper, events attended by many famous names at the Bebek Hotel, which drew attention with the secret VIP parties organized by hotel owner Muzaffer Yıldırım, were recorded with hidden cameras.
The footage contains more than just the hotel's security camera recordings. It was stated that flash drives, CDs, and camera system recording devices were kept in a storage area located in the hotel owner's residence.
TRACES OF VIP PARTIES CONCEALED
Hotel owner Muzaffer Yıldırım ensured that room registrations were made under different names to keep the entry of celebrities into the hotel secret. With this method, the aim was to ensure the confidentiality of the parties.
However, when footage recorded not only by security cameras but also by hidden cameras at the parties emerged, the investigation was moved to a much broader dimension.
According to Sabah's allegations, it was claimed that the footage seized in the storage area was archived for blackmail purposes. It was determined that Yıldırım kept footage of businessmen, artists, actors, models, and social media influencers who attended the parties.
The investigation has been deepened over the possibility of blackmail against these individuals whose private lives were secretly recorded.
TRANSFORMED INTO A CASINO WITH GAMBLING PARTIES
The investigation gained a new dimension with raids conducted on a residence that Yıldırım had turned into a casino. Poker tables, gambling chips, and ledger books hidden in Yıldırım's home at the "Istanbloom" residence in Istanbul's Şişli district were seized. Furthermore, a secret archive was found in the storage section of this residence. This archive contained footage from the area turned into a casino and records belonging to businessmen.
More than 30 flash drives, hundreds of CDs, and security camera recording devices were seized in the storage area found in Muzaffer Yıldırım's residence. Some of these digital materials have been examined by security units.
With the opening of the contents, secret footage featuring celebrities and businessmen emerged from this archive that Yıldırım created for blackmail purposes. These images were handed over to cyber units, and work has been initiated to decrypt them.
It was also alleged that the recordings of security cameras at the hotel's entrances and exits were kept in the storage area. Every person entering and leaving the room was recorded. It is claimed that this footage was recorded with the hotel's secret security system and stored for blackmail purposes. It is alleged that Yıldırım established a large blackmail network using this method.
Within the scope of the investigation, the obtained digital materials were handed over to cyber units. Intelligence units have also launched an investigation into whether the archived footage was leaked abroad.
