Answering questions from Halktv.com.tr, retired homicide detective Savaş Kurtbaba explained what the marks on the face of Narin's brother, Enes Güran, actually were.
It was noticed that there were marks on his face in the footage recorded while Enes Güran was in custody, and when asked about this, he had stated that the marks in question occurred during the search efforts for Narin and were caused by bushes.
IS THE KILLER ENES GÜRAN?
In his statements to halktv.com.tr, retired homicide detective Savaş Kurtbaba stated that the marks on Enes Güran's face were not caused by bushes.
He stated that the mark on Enes's face was a dynamic bite mark. He pointed out that this could have occurred due to the face being pulled away during a biting incident.

Enes Güran, one of the defendants detained in the Narin Güran investigation, had said in his testimony in court that the marks on his back and face were due to bushes during the search efforts.
BITE MARKS WERE ALSO FOUND ON ENES GÜRAN'S ARM
Photographs showing the bite marks on the arm of the brother, Enes Güran, who is being evaluated within the scope of the investigation, had been shared.
The brother, Enes Güran, who is among the defendants, presented his defense at the hearing held on November 7. The presiding judge stated that a lawsuit had been filed against the defendant Enes Güran with a request for an aggravated life sentence for the crime of "intentional killing of a child in complicity."
When asked by the prosecutor about the bite mark on his arm, Güran replied, "I made the bite mark on my arm on the third day. I did not enter prison because I was guilty. I entered for my sister Narin."
"Why were you included in the case and not your other siblings?" Güran was asked, to which he replied that he had never thought about it.
