Second Bahar Aksu-style murder narrowly prevented in Bursa: They tried to kidnap the woman by force
In the Gemlik district of Bursa, a woman identified as K.A., who was in the process of getting a divorce, was nearly kidnapped in the middle of the street by four men. The woman was rescued with the help of citizens nearby, and a handgun and ammunition were found on the attackers. The incident occurred just 12 days after the murder of Bahar Aksu.

Bursa's Gemlik district was shaken by an act of violence and an attempted forced kidnapping in the middle of the street. 29-year-old M.A., along with 42-year-old M.D., 65-year-old M.N.D., and 40-year-old E.K., attempted to forcibly kidnap his 24-year-old wife, K.A., who is in the process of divorcing him.
DRAGGED ON THE GROUND, ATTEMPTED TO KIDNAP IN THE TRUNK
K.A. was stopped by the attackers while walking with her friends. M.A. dragged the young woman on the ground and tried to force her into the trunk of a light commercial vehicle.
The woman managed to free herself by resisting and with the help of citizens in the vicinity. The events during the incident caused great panic in the area.
CAUGHT WITH A WEAPON
Police teams called to the scene intervened before the attackers could escape. According to the woman's statement, M.A. was carrying a handgun. In a search conducted by the police, a weapon and 39 rounds of ammunition were seized from M.A.
FOUR MEN ARRESTED
M.A., M.D., M.N.D., and E.K., who were taken into custody, were referred to the courthouse after their statements were taken. The four suspects, who were brought before a judge at the Gemlik Courthouse, were arrested and sent to prison.

This horrific incident took place just 12 days after the Bahar Aksu murder, which caused a great outcry in public opinion. On May 5, in Istanbul's Şişli district, Bahar Aksu had resisted when she was attempted to be kidnapped by her ex-husband and his friends while on her way to work. However, the attacker had pulled a gun from his waistband and fired repeatedly at Aksu, murdering the young woman in the middle of the street.
