When his friend M.S.Ç., who was operating the boat, performed a maneuver without noticing the situation, Ali Bahar was caught between the motor propellers. After it was realized that Bahar was seriously injured, help was requested from the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, a Coast Guard boat was directed to the area. Ali Bahar, who was pulled from the water, was quickly brought to the shore and taken to a private hospital in Kemer by ambulance. It was determined that Ali Bahar, who had wounds and cuts on most of his body, had suffered cardiac arrest and severe blood loss. Despite all interventions, Bahar could not be saved. Ali Bahar's funeral was laid to rest at Uncalı Cemetery following a ceremony held at ATSO.

STATEMENT FROM HIS WIFE

The indictment prepared regarding the boat accident was accepted by the Kemer Criminal Court of First Instance. Ali Bahar's wife, Şebnem Bahar, stated in her testimony to the prosecutor's office, "My husband was an experienced sailor who had held a maritime license for many years. Due to the shock I experienced on the day I learned of the incident, my blood pressure rose, and although it was written in my hastily taken statement that I did not file a complaint, I learned that the information given to me at the time of the incident was completely different from the information in the file. I am a complainant and plaintiff against M.S.Ç. and Y.C.Ç., who were on the boat on the day of the incident, and any other person or persons who may be identified later."

HIS LOVER WAS ALSO ON THE BOAT!

M.S.Ç., who stated in his first testimony to the prosecutor's office that Y.C.Ç., who was on the boat, was a very old friend of Ali Bahar, stated in his additional testimony that there was a relationship between Bahar and Y.C.Ç., saying, "I was as close to Ali as I was to his wife and children. I had a very sincere relationship with the family. I did not want to disclose Ali Bahar's relationship with Y.C.Ç. in order to protect the privacy of Ali and his family. However, after the incident, I explained this situation to Ali Bahar's wife, Şebnem Bahar, in all its details. My goal was to protect the privacy of the deceased and his family."

'WE ANCHORED AT PHASELIS BAY TO SPEND THE NIGHT'

Noting that he had explained the moment of meeting as a 'chance encounter' in his previous statement, M.S.Ç. said, "However, this is not true. Because Ali was a well-known person in society, Ali wanted me to be there, thinking that my presence would protect the individuals, the families, and the position Ali held, and would make it easier to explain in case of a contrary situation. We picked up Ms. Y.C.Ç. from the address described to me and arrived at Kemer G-Marina around 19:00. Then we went to Phaselis Bay to spend the night and anchored there."

'THEY CONSUMED TOO MUCH ALCOHOL'

Y.C.Ç. said in her statement, "I have known Ali Bahar for about 20 years. I had a sincere friendship with him. He went through a difficult election process. I supported him during those times; I have always had a close relationship with him anyway. He would consult with me and ask for my opinion on everything from his work to the clothes he wore. That's why we met very often. When we arrived at the boat, Ali Bey was alone. We left the marina around 19:00-19:30. Because the atmosphere was very pleasant, they consumed too much alcohol. I could not consume much alcohol. Before going to sleep, the three of us went into the sea together and came out. I lay down on the seat at the stern of the boat with my phone in my hand and fell asleep."

'THERE WAS NO SEXUAL INTIMACY ON THE BOAT'

Stating that she had a closer emotional relationship with Ali Bahar than just friendship, Y.C.Ç. said, "However, we did not have any arguments on the day of the incident. I had no contact at the moment of the incident. Neither did he touch me, nor did I push him. None of the three of us were physically close to each other at the moment of the incident. There was no sexual intimacy on the boat in any way or between anyone. The closeness between us has no connection to the moment or the result of the incident. I did not have any contact at the moment of the incident, even for the purpose of affection or joking."

Y.C.Ç.'s husband, D.A.Ç., noted in his statement that his wife did not have a relationship with Ali Bahar.
