As the Republican People's Party (CHP) continues its calls for early elections, research and poll results continue to be released.
While the CHP has been maintaining its calls for early elections recently, public opinion research companies have also accelerated their polling efforts. Most recently, the survey results from the BETİMAR Research Company have emerged.
BETİMAR Research President Gürkan Duman shared the results of their poll during a live broadcast on Sözcü TV.
'THEY HAVE CONSOLIDATED'
BETİMAR Research President Gürkan Duman made the following comment regarding the poll results:
"There is a consolidation of voters here who do not share the same views as the opposition. This is around 40 percent. The perception that the voter base has shifted to the CHP is also not accurate. Let us state that both the People's Alliance and the Nation Alliance have consolidated within their own voter bases."
"46 PERCENT SUPPORT EARLY ELECTIONS"
There is 46.6 percent support for CHP leader Özgür Özel's statements regarding early elections in June. We must also state that 42.9 percent do not support it. We have a table on who can solve Turkey's problems. Here, 27.6 percent say none of them can solve it, 26 percent say the AKP can solve it, and 23.4 percent say the CHP can solve it. The opposition needs to take concrete steps in areas such as healthcare, foreign policy, and the economy."
