The terrorist organization PKK has announced its dissolution as part of the new opening process, which began with Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli shaking hands with DEM Party deputies at the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and continued with his call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan at his party's group meeting.

While debates on transparency continue in the public eye regarding the process that the government calls a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' the targeting of the Treaty of Lausanne, which is the title deed of the Republic of Turkey, in the terrorist organization PKK's final declaration has drawn backlash.

Nefes Newspaper columnist Nuray Babacan, in her article titled "Both doubt and hope," conveyed information she obtained from AKP corridors regarding the terrorist organization PKK's decision to dissolve and the scandalous expressions in its final declaration.

* This is not an AKP or CHP organization; the point reached by those who have had weapons in their hands throughout their lives is very important.

* What is important from now on is that they do not make mistakes in the implementation process; this is what will be followed.

* The steps to be taken are clear. If they display a different attitude here, the state's position will change.

* When the organization enters a wrong path, the state's military and intelligence are following closely.

* Is there anyone saying 'we have completely shelved the fight against terrorism'? No. If a mistake is made, they will bear the consequences.

* One should not get hung up on the lines and implications in the statement. What if the PKK tries to cheat by changing its name? The state has written the book on them. They know better than anyone what will happen.

They certainly have the potential to make mistakes. However, the relevant institutions will monitor the process, knowing all possibilities and benefiting from the accumulation of the past. We hope they do not miscalculate...'"
